This is also a restaurant- Market Grill. The food here is simple and authentic. The menu is small as is the kitchen.

But don't let the simplicity of the food and menu fool you I had the chicken fried streak and was impressed. Nothing fancy, but the sirloin was tender and the gravy was bacon based rather than the typical sausage.

My wife had a cheeseburger. The burger wasn't dressed up all fancy, but the meat had great flavor. Not a dining a experience, but it is certainly worth your while to eat here if you appreciate simple and good food. A great local place in Cedar City that was friendly and welcoming as we are traveling in UT.

The restaurant is literally located at the livestock auction yard. The menu details the history of the place. The original owner started cooking burgers on an outdoor grill on auction day. Now run by her family, the outdoor has given way to small addition off the main auction barn.

Breakfast items on the menu covered the basics nicely. We were here at lunch.

About a dozen burgers, sandwiches and a couple of salads. Dinner is also very basic in selection, dominated by beef obviously. Other items included pork chops, chicken and other comfort food. This steak was the most expensive item on the menu.

Save room for homemade pie! Breakfast is served until 11 AM noon on weekends and dinner starts at 5PM. Restrooms are not ADA. The Cracker basket served with soup was full of stale crackers. They bring condiments to the table. The mayo bottle was very warm But they cheerfully went to the refrigerator and brought an ice cold one.
